The Group consists of 42 entities located all over the world, in particular in Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and Asia.
“Access to information on sustainable development – including the environmental, climate, social, and governance challenges – is key to making well-informed investment decisions. That is why, at Elemental Holding, we have adopted objective indicators and transparent ways of measuring and evaluating risks that are associated with these areas. The ESG report we have published is a summary of our efforts taken in 2021 in the sectors that are key for sustainable development. We want to show the enormous role that our companies play in building a modern economy based on access to metals obtained in a sustainable way,’” – emphasizes Paweł Jarski, the CEO of Elemental Holding.
The report published by the Elemental Holding Group presents data for 2021 and constitutes an extension of the consolidated non-financial statement. In the process of its creation, documents, policies, procedures and other documents related to the Group’s operations, as well as the entire metals recycling industry, were analyzed and disclosed to the stakeholders. In order to maintain full transparency, comprehensiveness and analytical layout of the data, the report has been prepared in accordance with all sustainability reporting norms and standards applicable in the European Union. The standard applied in the report is based on the guidelines and methodology of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
