Elemental Holding Group has signed an agreement to acquire Daniel Ball Converter Recycling, Inc.

Elemental Holding Group has signed an agreement to acquire  Daniel Ball Converter Recycling, Inc. (the “DBCR”), a leading spent automotive catalyst company. DBCR is headquartered in Tennessee and operates in the Southeastern region of the US. This add-on acquisition in the US market strengthens the Group’s position in the global supply chain of recycled PGMs (platinum group metals).

Under the agreement, Elemental Holding Group will acquire 70 percent of shares in DBCR. Experience of DBCR’s management and staff, as well as market reputation and long-lasting relations with suppliers and customers, will create a strong basis for further growth of the PGM collection and processing business.

The acquisition of DBCR is yet another investment by Elemental Holding Group in the US strategic metal recycling segment, which started in December 2019 with the acquisition of PGM of Texas and was followed in 2021 with the acquisition of Maryland Core and  Legend Smelting and Recycling. Currently, Elemental Holding Group is the second biggest player in collecting and processing of spent automotive catalysts in the US and globally.

“This add-on acquisition will allow us to strengthen our presence in the states of Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Our ultimate goal is to have full geographic coverage in the US.” – commented Sławomir Baran, Head of M&A at Elemental Holding.
